I am about to complete my first year at IU School of Dentistry. I completed my B.S. in Biology at IPFW with a 4.0 GPA and love learning! Science is my specialty but I enjoy other subjects as well. I have experience so far tutoring college-level genetics, both high school and college-level statistics, assisting a student getting her GED online, as well as teaching organic and general chemistry to a student getting ready to take the DAT. During my life I have worked in several types of businesses in which I would usually advance to becoming the lead person, teacher to the ones working below me. Micro welding had to teach others how to set machines and run them. I built parts which went to the moon, had to teach the others how they were made. Owned an upholstery business and taught people how to sew, cut, and hang the materials on the furniture. I helped my sons and later my granddaughters with home work. All of this should add up to a year of tutoring students. Teaching the students they need to ask questions that concern them the most and then always manage to work through them.

I still remember going to the Boys and Girls Club to tutor each week. When I got the opportunity to work with the Junior Achievement organization while working in Butler, I jumped for joy. For 8 years I was a volunteer teacher for all three schools (elementary, middle, and high). My company closed down and I had to leave the Eastside JA board and the opportunity to help children learn.
