Children are our heritage. Children have an innate desire to learn and I believe that with proper guidance, each child can be successful. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to work one-on-one with students. I can get a better feel for their learning style and therefore teach for that specific student. I like to teach by relating the subject to real life situations. All students can learn anything, it just sometimes takes a more personal approach before it really clicks. I graduated Cum Laude from Ball State with a double major in Visual Communication and Genetics. Both my parents were teachers and I often tutored my friends. I was a tutor while in college. I tutored students in History, Accounting, and Greek. I was a double major:Accounting and Christian Ministry. I was a substitute teacher in Indiana from 1990-1994. I believe the greatest thing about knowledge is the ability to share it. I love to learn, but that is only the first step. The true reward comes in being able to impart that knowledge of someone else. However, each person learns differently. Whether in a classroom setting or one-on-one tutoring, it is imperative that the teacher learn how each student learns.
