As a teacher there is nothing more rewarding than the look on a child's face when a skill is mastered or a mystery becomes an understood concept. I graduated college with top honors. I worked as a Juvenile/Shelter Care Counselor at Berks County Youth Center where I worked with children of all ages and races. I am semi bi-lingual in Spanish. I took three years of Spanish courses in college. I supervised children in school and daily activities, but was also responsible for helping them complete all homework assignments, organize educational activities , help teach all school subjects, as well as tutor children in need of extra help in school. I encourage students to write down their concerns and mark the areas of confusion at the time these arise. That way the students don't forget to bring them to my attention.
