Creating a more educated youth, one young mind at a time.

I believe that every student is different and not ever student learns the same. I like emphasis on visual education and demonstrations because they stick with you much longer than technical memorization of topics. Real life application is crucial to me as well, if you want to be pre med I like to tutor you with problems that are applicable to that field. I.e.) nursing drop rates for chem and math, half life's, unit conversations, logic skills and diagnostics, etc

Teaching and tutoring have been my life's work. Though the majority of my experience is at the college level, I love working with students of all ages. A Little Bit About Me...

My goal in teaching is to provide the student with the tools to discover and learn new concepts and to apply this knowledge to the learning process. I do not beleive in giving answers, but rather helping the student learn how to find the answers. I am very patient and will go over a concept until it is understood by the student. I enjoy children who are eager to learn, but try to instill a desire to acheive.
As an administrator of a school I oversaw the education of children from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. I have eight years experience teaching algebra I, five years teaching business math. In a tutoring setting, the student's needs are evaluated and methods for meeting these needs are explored and applied. Students differ in learning styles.
