I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. I have been professionally painting landscapes and portraits since 1972 with over 15 years experience in teaching workshops and art instruction in the United States and in Italy. I have studied portrait drawing and landscape painting with some of the country’s leading professionals. I have taught portrait drawing in area colleges as well as in an intense 10-week course on oil painting. He is a member of the Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society. My most recent landscape of the Connecticut River area was selected by Governor M. Jodi Rell and installed at the State of Connecticut Governor’s residence in Hartford.
