I have been teaching Reading for 15 years. I taught in Allentown, Pa., Maryland and currently in Bethlehem, PA. I have always taught 6th graders. I have been selected grade level leader at all schools and make it a point to know all students in my grade. I am an hnest teacher that explains why lesson need to be done. I was the type of person back in school who could never focus on anything in school,and one year I had to go to summer school.There I met a teacher who changed learning for me completely.I learned thing that i struggled to learn for years in just a couple months.It was amazing.From then on i remembered his teached ways and swore I would become a teacher or even a tutor and teach the same way he did,to help others learn and feel accomplished like I did.

My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Social Studies is such an important topic for students today. I have found that with social studies, there are so many fun and interesting ways to tutor this subject. Each one of my students will receive this treatment and will have a fun experience.

I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. The students that I conducted homework help and tutoring with were within grades 2nd through 6th. I conducted my Student Teaching in a first grade classroom and loved every minute of it.

These are in part “taught” but also developed by recognition and support of inborn talents. Operative use of vocabulary is also imperative to the development of both writing and speaking skills. A Little Bit About Me...

At the start of my college career, I began tutoring for Calculus. I received an offer from a Professor at Lafayette who had heard about me. She and her husband had two children who were accellerated two years above their classmates. I tutored both children once or twice a week in both of their respective mathematics courses as well.
I love working with people, especially children. I have been a Crew Trainer at each job I've had because of my ability to relate, connect and teach others. I am very patient and easy-going.
