I review the work with the student and explain the process. I encourage them to take notes and write things out. We talk through the assignment and I let them explain to me why they are doing what they are. If it isn't the correct answer to the problem, we review the material again and go over why it isn't correct. I try to give different ways and examples until I see that lightbulb go off letting me know that they understand. As a parent, I know the importance of being patient and understanding. Children are the future and I believe that every child should be given every opportunity available to them so that they can succeed. I welcome the opportunity to make a difference.

I have experience working with adults but I love working with children as well. I have the ability to manipulate the way I teach that will maximize the learning for each individual. I'm am a very personal and creative person thats wants everyone to succeed in their academics.
While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. I began to work at Regions Bank in New Albany the Summer after my Senior year of high school. While still working for the bank, I attended Ole Miss for a year, then transfered to Northeast for the next year.
