As cliché as this sounds - my favorite part of teaching is the satisfaction of knowing I made a difference. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am enrolled in a doctoral program currently to earn my Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. I have a great amount of experience in research and writing and have been teaching at-risk youth for 2 years. Primarily, I teach all Social Studies classes. However, I am very comfortable tutoring and teaching English, Composition, and Science classes such as Biology, High School Genetics, and Anatomy. Every child and adult learns differently. It is imperative that adaptation to an individual's learning style is addressed. I truly believe that everyone can be successful academically.
