I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education based on my own families background and my own. Because I was overlooked it gave me the desire to help those that seemed mostlikely to not succeed. I earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education while working full time and being a full time mom. I went on to earn my Masters in Education and Psychology/Counseling. As a Georgia Southwestern State University Graduate, I was able to obtain many opportunities to work with students of different grade levels and developmental levels. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and have experience with many different grade levels. I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 2nd grade students during student teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a bachelors in management in 1994 after earning 2 Associate Degrees; one in Paralegal Studies and the other in Legal Secretarial Studies. The classes I had to take to earn these degrees prepared me to be able to become a substitute teacher at the elementary school level (K-5). My experience and training has allowed me to become very good in writing correspondence and thus my knowledge in the correct use of grammar, spelling and vocabulary will help me in tutoring students in these areas.
As a substitute teacher I never really was able to develop a specific style of teaching. Each teacher had their own way of doing things and each class was different.
