Test Preparation is one of my top subjects! In-school nursing exams

Previous nursing tutor at Dutchess Community College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Have compiled multiple Power Points over the years which explain concepts in simple terms and which have illustrations of concepts which will not be found in nursing textbooks. Unfortunately, nursing textbooks tend to be a faceless landscape which is presented to the student with many complex concepts. It is important that the student be able to visualize the concepts as nursing is all about understanding and not memorization. At exam time, students are normally assigned approximately 19 chapters of reading. The brain needs concrete objects to latch onto, such as pictures. I've always been one to reach out and help other classmates or relatives of mine. I am currently helping my cousin who is a year older than me in school with her chemistry. In high school I would be always be in the extra help room during my free periods to help out the other students struggling in whatever area, and all the students always came to me for help because they knew I would sit down and help them. Sometimes a student of any age needs help from another student or someone who is not their teacher.
