Dr. Christopher Dost is assistant professor of Hebrew Bible and the Director of Online Programs at Alliance Theological Seminary (Nyack, NY). Holding three master’s degrees, as well as a Ph.D. from the Jewish Theological Seminary, Dr. Dost is a published researcher and translator, and specializes in the languages and cultures of the Middle East. I have taught both Spanish individual and group classes in a variety of locations throughout NY and CT. My native language is English, however I have lived and studied in Spain. I was born and raised in Israel and moved to the US at age sixteen. I speak, write, and read fluent Hebrew. My experience with the Hebrew language consists of being born and raised in Israel until age sixteen, where I went to school and took many grammar courses and spoke only Hebrew. Additionally, I have taught fourth and sixth graders Hebrew at a Sunday school in Connecticut for three years. In addition, while working on my undergrad degree, I enrolled in an advanced Hebrew class for a semester, in which I received the grade A.
