I love kids & am a young mother who relates well & is sensitive to other young musician's needs. I have many long standing piano clients. In my music class you not only learn all of the essentials in music & song writing but you also learn how to how to have fun with music. I have a laid back "learn at your own pace" approach in my piano class & I teach everything from Rock to Classical. For beginner students who are children 7 years of age or younger I like to use Bastein Piano for the Young Beginner: Primer A. For beginner children 8 years of age or older I like to use Bastien Piano Basics Primer Level. For Beginner adult students I like to use Bastein Adult Piano Book One. A Little Bit About Me...

In addition to receiving a BM and MM degree, I have been an educator for several years. Most recently I taught private saxophone, flute, clarinet and keyboard lessons in Rochester, NY at the Eastman Community School and in Spencerport, NY at Dori's Music Studio. While working on my Masters Degree at Eastman I was a TA and taught several Jazz Performance Workshop classes. I have also done guest lectures and workshops at various levels such as in music classes at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and at EFA high school in Elmira, NY. I have also done an extensive amount of performing around the world, and have played at numerous jazz clubs and venues in NYC such as Smalls, Birdland, Smoke and Symphony Space and have toured several countries in Europe with a jazz quartet.
