I am a strong believer that children all learn differently. I consider myself a visual learner, but try to teach to cater all different learning styles. I believe children learn best when able to relate to the material in some way. I try my best to discover the individual child's learning style and personal interests early on and then adjust my approach accordingly. It is then that the student becomes confident in learning, which promotes success. I taught school for four (4) years to ages kindergarten - seventh grade. I also tutored inner city children ages 5-12 for two (2) years. For the last eight (8) years I have been tutoring ages kindergarten- third grade. I took courses in psychology and children. I have a J.D. Degree, Masters Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree. I have been in a school environment as my favorite pass time was to spend with children. Math is my favorite course. I helped students achieve good grip on calculations and solving problems. In Short- Teaching kids gives me peace and satisfaction in life.

My career has been in advertising, graphic design, and editing/ publishing. In recent years, I have substituted in area junior and high schools, and I have taught at a certificate-granting school (now a junior college) with an emphasis on English grammar and composition.
I most enjoyed teaching young adults and adults as they prepared for tangible competencies and careers. I have over ten years of experience in elementary education as both a classroom teacher and administrator of enrichment programs. My teaching experience includes a multiage classroom of kindergarten and first graders and a multiage classroom of second and third graders. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is hands on I think most children learn better when they can see it for themselves and how things work. For younger children I try to make up a song and sign it for them and they seem to learn better when u sign it. I think learning should be fun and interesting and I feel that I have the patience to be able to teach children.
Upon graduating from Johnson and Wales with a A.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a B.S. in Sales and Meeting management I enyoyed my field.
