My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : This program is an overview of MS Office, and how to use the essentials of each application, as well as how they fit together in a work environment. It's fun and interactive, and VERY useful!

I try to do some explication, and then have the student try some exercises or venture out on their own. In the cases of multiple sessions, I DO assign homefun (as opposed to homework), so that the student will have some experience when next we meet.
I am an experienced graphic and web designer. But in college I thought I was going to be either an English or History Professor, or an Attorney. That's why I studied lots of his History, English, and took the pre-law major Philosophy. I have several year of post-graduate classes as well. I started teaching Graphic Design in 2002, and brought into that Web Design, along with the skills that accompany them - HTML and CSS. I have even designed signs, and love it!

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : Some experience depending on what you want or need to learn.

I have been a trainer off and on throughout my career. I have been the go-to person at work for several years. I am a visual learner. If you can communicate what it is you want to learn, and I know it, I can teach it. I typically fly by the seat of my pants.

A Little Bit About Me...

My degree in Engineering has given me plenty of experience in math and science. I have also had graduate courses in Physics and Engineering. As a graduate student at UNT, I instructed several physics and astronomy labs and learned first hand what teaching can be like. I have since felt that teaching math and science is a career I want to pursue.
