My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : Excel is Microsoft's amazing spreadsheet program. There is so much you can do with it! It's fun, useful, and amazing!

I am an experienced graphic and web designer. But in college I thought I was going to be either an English or History Professor, or an Attorney. That's why I studied lots of his History, English, and took the pre-law major Philosophy. I have several year of post-graduate classes as well. I started teaching Graphic Design in 2002, and brought into that Web Design, along with the skills that accompany them - HTML and CSS. I have even designed signs, and love it!
I try to do some explication, and then have the student try some exercises or venture out on their own. In the cases of multiple sessions, I DO assign homefun (as opposed to homework), so that the student will have some experience when next we meet.

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I've used this software to integrate inserts and tables into other softwares. I've had intermediate to advanced course instruction. It was used briefly during my 30 year career. The session rate for this course is the lowest rate for my instruction.

I have been a trainer off and on throughout my career. I have been the go-to person at work for several years. I am a visual learner. If you can communicate what it is you want to learn, and I know it, I can teach it. I typically fly by the seat of my pants.
