I use Props and activites to convey the information at hand, especially with kids. Then practice is launched, to determine the level of acquisition. Thus, learning becomes fun and rewarding.
I have been a teacher for over 7 years, and a turor for around ten years. I have taught Kids and adults. I make learning fun and beneficial at the same time. An assessment is first required, then the student's level is determined, and we go from there.Arabic language is a complicated language, and the only way to teach it is by proceeding step by step, starting with the Arabic letters, then words, then simple sentences and so on.Within a couple months, you will see results and be able to read in the language at target.

I am energetic and enthusiastic and try to motivate my students to learn to appreciate a new language and culture. Once I have worked with a student for a few sessions, I am able to ascertain which particular issues that the student is having with the language; for example, if he or she struggles with grammar, listening comprehension or speaking. After we have identified the student's particular struggle, I use techniques to motivate students in which areas cause them the most difficulties.
I taught high school for 16 years and left the traditional classroom about 4 years ago to become a tutor. I have tutored both privately and for corporations, usually on a one-on-one basis and have really enjoyed the change from teaching many students at a time to tutoring students individually or in small groups.

My comments on tutoring French : elementary- high school french and 6yrs college coursework in French including the study of the language, French history, French culture and French lit completed. Was fluent through college but lost some fluency with disuse since college

I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.
