Ryan Chesser loves music. But it wasn’t always that way. He started piano lessons in 5th grade, but didn’t fall in love with music until young adulthood. Ryan went on to further his musical education and graduated from Southeastern University with a Bachelors Degree in Church Music in 2007. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught children how to sail for about 10 years now. These children range in groups of 5-15 and ages 5 to adult. This requires not only instruction, but First Aid and CPR certifications and safety procedures. I also am now a Spanish professor at a local community college, teaching a Medical Spanish class to nursing students.
I love teaching and working with children. I think that turning the class material into a fun experience will make it easier to learn, and make the experience enjoyable for them as well. I am patient, experienced, and compassionate. I love coming up with in-class activities and games to make the students retain the material. Each person is different and as a tutor one has to be very empathic, patient, and understanding. By knowing the child you're working with and understanding their way of learning, you can adjust your methods to accommodate them, that way being more effective. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my entire undergraduate education, I tutored other students in multiple areas of mathematics, which was highly recommended as a math major, but I continued to tutored after I changed my major to finance one semester before graduation. I began teaching algebra level 1 and 2 to high schoolers before taking a job in finance. I currently work for that same company and have obtained my MBA in the meantime.
