A Little Bit About Me...

I have been involved with education for seven years now. I started by working as a paraprofessional in the special education program at Oyster River High School. This job was essentially daily tutoring of students within the school setting. In addition to this valuable experience I recently recieved my Masters Degree in Secondary English Teaching from the University of New Hampshire (in fact, Graduation was two days ago). The final step in reaching that goal was my year long internship, during which I taught a freshman English class and a Journalism 1 class, as well as helping to co-teach several other classes. At the University of Massachusetts I exceled in Math and Science classes. I orginally planned on being a Math major but chenged course after taking an Environmental policy class. As a law student, I have been committed to the public interest. I have focused my attenion on environmental issues. During law school, I worked weekends at the Save the Bay Exploration Center teaching childern and adults about marine life. Since I moved back to New Hampshire I have continued volenteering as a science educator at a local Science Center twice a week.

As a recent graduate of a high ranking tech school with my BS in Business Administration and Materials Engineering I am very familiar with the academic setting and learning styles of various students.
