A Little Bit About Me...

As a senior civil engineering student at Washington University, I have received an outstanding education, especially in math and science. I will graduate in May with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In the fall, I will pursue a master's degree in civil engineering. Even though my fortes are in math and science, I believe that I have more than sufficient written and communication skills that would be valuable in tutoring. In high school, I tutored advanced algebra for a year, and I also taught Spanish to elementary school students. I also have tutoring experience working with high school age African immigrants. During my freshman year at the University of Missouri, I showed a great understanding of two upper level calculus courses (Calculus II and Calculus III) and became a part-time math tutor for the university. While completing the requirements for a BS in Civil Engineering, I spent the last 3 years of the program tutoring math students in courses such as Calculus I, II, and a little bit of Calculus III. I also helped many students with Pre-Calculus or Math Analysis courses.
