My experience is more hands-on and personal, I suppose. I love history and write constantly, in addition to having a great interest in photography and television. I majored in American Studies which focused on history and culture in the US, and minored in Creative Writing and Digital Arts. It is a dream of mine to help others learn, as I think college and knowledge is an incredible and necessary aspect that people need.
In my experience, I do not teach but simply assist people who need it. In college I helped my friends by explaining how to correct their writing, and offering advice. I am patient and willing to help as best as I can without being condescending towards students.

While attending Texas Tech University I was employed by the Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes as a tutor and worked with athletes in the following subject areas: English, Spanish, Art History, History, and Political Science. Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I have been writing my entire life with multiple published articles in the fields of philosophy, computer programming, and fictions based in a canonical fictional universe. I have written over one hundred pieces on the three aforementioned subjects and on many others. The English language is a beautiful language and all of the many words must be utilized while still maintaining the audiences attention.

I love getting students interested in subjects before I start teaching them. There's no point in walking through a tunnel if you never see the light at the end of it. This can be done in many different ways such as comparing it to real life or showing what can be done with the knowledge acquired. The best way for students to start learning is to compare it to things they already know. For example, I explain a "Class", which is a term in the computer language Java, to an object in real life and all the different "methods", another computer science term, with all the different things that that object can do.
