I enjoy teaching children and helping them accomplish their goals. I believe that learning should be fun. I try to motivate each child by focusing on their strengths. I encourage each child to try their best. I believe that each child has the potential to do well in school and I feel that it is my job to help them succeed. I have helped several of my students improve their math and reading grades, dramatically! One of my students was failing math and he received a B on his last report card! The other student went from a fourth grade reading level to a seventh grade reading level in less than three months. Learning Can be Fun!

I like to allow the student to read the material once and clarity any areas that need more explanation. Then I will allow them to answer questions from the material read and help them where needed to choose the correct answer and understand the reason for the answers. I like to reward a certain level of correct answers with points that can be redeemed for interesting small prizes.
