Sign deaf Interpreter for the Ooltewah Church of United Methodist Church and the Seventh Day Church in Collegedale and Ooltewah TN. Perform in deaf choir at Chattanooga State College and tutor other students to advance their skills as well to. I did free lance deaf interpreting for Vocautional Rehab in Cleveland TN through Human service for the Deaf and Blind.
Basically as far as teaching style, I working as team or group setting together with the students or student to make easy for them to learn and understand the quality of education. Also I will tutor with one student if needed for one on one individual learning to help any student to succeed.

Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I have 12 years of experience teaching American Sign Language to students (3rd - 12th grades), educators, and families of Deaf children. The best way to learn is through fun, interactive activities! I have also worked with members of the Deaf community in the capacity of Interpreter and Job Coach for 15 years. I love this language and sharing my knowledge!

Clear communication is a key to life, that's my motto. No matter which language is being spoken, the goal is to exchange thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Immersed in the culture of the Deaf for 15 years, I have come to realize that American Sign Language is the most efficient, concise language; this is primarily due to the use of visual space, body language, eye gaze and the signs themselves. Students may find learning sign language challenging until the elements of the language noted above are more deeply understood. The best way to comprehend the rules and grammar of this language, I have discovered, is through fun activities, story telling and conversation.
