A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is probably best suited to high school and college students. Although I successfully helped my own 3 children through their elementary school, high school and college years, my tutoring experience has been with older students. My wife is a Montessori trained teacher so I have absorbed that method for tutoring. Each student must be viewed as an individual to define the areas of weakness and fill them in. It is the instructor's job to encourage thoughtful questions. To do this, the student must be made to feel at ease around the teacher and confident enough to ask the questions they really need answered to succeed.
