I believe that a good teacher has a great deal of "real life" experience in the field they are teaching and can bring to the student "real life" case studies to show the right and wrong way to do things. I have always been a very curious and academic person. I love to learn and like to pass that on to my students. It makes it easier because I have really lived a lot of the things I teach. I grew up in a small town in Idaho and excelled in both my Math and Science classes. At 16 I decided I needed to see the world so I moved to Argentina as an exchange student. I spent a year learning both the culture and language of the country. I was able to travel a lot and really felt like a member of their society. I returned and finished my senior year of high school.
