I have been teaching since 1986. I have taught in the healthcare field through a Vocational Technical Institute, University and Private Education Center. I am currently applying for the Master's Program in Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I hope to begin in the Fall. More About This Tutor...

In the past 28 years I have enjoyed watching the young kindergarten student grow and learn. I believe that all children can learn, but as adults we have to allow them to learn at their pace. Each child learns in different ways, some by seeing, some by example, and some by doing. I believe I set a good example for learning because I learn something new every day and sometimes from the very children I teach. Discipline should be positive and directed at the behavior not the child. I have a very calm teaching manor and believe that helps children stay calm.
