In the past 28 years I have enjoyed watching the young kindergarten student grow and learn. I believe that all children can learn, but as adults we have to allow them to learn at their pace. Each child learns in different ways, some by seeing, some by example, and some by doing. I believe I set a good example for learning because I learn something new every day and sometimes from the very children I teach. Discipline should be positive and directed at the behavior not the child. I have a very calm teaching manor and believe that helps children stay calm.
I have taught Sunday School for 28 years in the kindergarten area. I have trained numerous PC users over the last ten years in general PC usage and various software packages. During and after earning my degree, I spent almost nine years working in healthcare as a medical assistant, teaching patients in a one on one environment. Most recently I was an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor. I have given training presentations to groups from as small as three to as large as sixty. During this school year, I have worked as a substitute teacher for Calvary Christian Academy.I was involved in 4-H for 9 years. Through that opportunity I was instilled with a passion for community service. A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored math and science for Carl Albert State College from Sept. 1994 to May 1995. I tutored mostly in Algebra, but also in word processing, and anatomy and physiology. I tutored for Sheridan Community College in Sheridan WY from Jan. 2000 to July 2004. I tutored mostly higher maths, ranging from algebra to business calculus. I also tutored general biology, microbiology, general chemistry, and human biology. I also taught for Sheridan Community College from Aug 2001 to Aug 2008. I taught the pre-requisiete maths up to and including college algebra, as well as teaching human biology both in a traditional classroom and online.
