A Little Bit About Me...

As a native French speaking international student, I came to Emporia State University to obtain an MBA. Upon my arrival, I was offered a Graduate Teaching Assistant position to teach beginning French classes level 110 and 111. I taught during the four year of my academic carrier at ESU. It was a formidable experience and I have learned a lot on how to teach and help students. I have been asked after graduation to tutor a couple students here at ESU.
I have discovered that in order to teach French and especially French grammar, most students didn’t know what an adverb, a noun or a subject was. As a native French speaker who graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master in Urban Planning and a BA in Political Science. I have tutored students in French and English as a second language. Prior to obtaining my BA, I tutored high school students for a year in Kansas City. I can relate to students struggling to learn a language as I did when I started learning English, which turned out to be quite challenging for me. I decided to spend a year abroad and learn English as an exchange student
