My comments on tutoring Journalism : I know how to keep sentences & paragraphs short and can make quick corrections under deadline pressure.

I will use examples to teach. I will provide students with examples of the correct and incorrect ways to write a sentence. I will show pupils how to proofread their work for spelling and grammatical errors so that they do not rely solely on their spellchecker.

I went through a rigorous program in English Composition where I received my MA. Prior to that, I had several years of teaching experience as both a high school/middle school English and Social Studies. Later I taught 4 years of College English.
