I like listening to students and relating to them at their level and letting them draw from me all that they can take and encourage their learning. I believe the best learning takes place when students are provided the proper atmosphere in which to learn. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has been part lecture, part class discussion, part in-class assignments, and some cooperative education, with the more advanced students being leaders in groups of 5-6 students. I enthusiastically guide and encourage my students to learn about literature, grammar, history, and the finer points of public speaking. I have received nine teaching awards in my thirty years of being an educator.
