I have two technical-college degrees, I worked my way through both of them being a math tutor, and have used math and science in some way in every job I've ever held. As for my "teaching style", as everyone knows, it helps enormously just to have another person to work with, ask questions of, and generally talk things through. My teaching style in the classroom involves the creation of agreements for decorum and expected performance criteria, usually in the form of a rubric for each project assigned. My goal as a tutor is to assist a child with his/her own particular educational needs.
