My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
I have both a bachelors degree and masters degree in business administration/management. Both of these degrees have given me a high level of knowledge in many areas such as finance, accounting, math in general, writing, and presentations/projects. I have always enjoyed teaching and working with students. I believe a teacher must demonstrate patience and be flexible to the student's abilities. I have seen first hand what can happen if a teacher takes an interest in a child's education. I worked as a scout leader at a church in Pensacola. Most of the children were inner city kids who had very little parental involvement. Once the kids saw someone cared and spent time with them, they worked even harder to learn the material and were very successful. I believe a teacher can have the same impact. A Little Bit About Me...

The school setting is the perfect enviroment for character education. The combination of teaching academics and attitude together can lead a student on a path to success in all areas of life. It is my hope that students leave my care with a desire to reach their potential and be better than their peers.
I hold a provisional Teaching Certification from the State of Michigan; I have begun the process of transferring it to the State of Florida. A Masters degree in Education is in my near future. Prior to moving to Florida I was a football and softball coach for close to 10 years while serving the school district as a long term substitute in several capacities including Elementary and Special Education assignments.
