My comments on tutoring GED : I worked as a GED math tutor for a year, so I'm very familiar with that part of the test.

I have been teaching math since 8/2000. I first began teaching in a large urban district and then switched to teaching in a private school. I have taught math at both the high school and middle school levels. The subjects I have taught include algebra I and II, geometry, AP Calculus AB,and middle school math. I have tutored math every year that I taught, and also tutored GED math for 1 year.
I think that I am very clear and concise in my explanations of concepts. I am also very good at explaining concepts in multiple ways. So if a student doesn't get how to do a problem using one method, I can go over another approach. I'm a good listener.

I have over 25+ years in all areas of Accounting. I am passionate about math, accounting, finance, and education. In both undergraduate and graduate work. My jobs within the Accounting field have been roles which required leading and educating. Teaching is not something I had initially aspired to but found I am a teacher and motivator by nature.
