A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is based on my belief that my purpose is that the student learn the material. If that means backtracking and presenting the material in a different manner or using more examples then that is what I will do. Especially in math and accounting, the building blocks must be solid in order to advance so I do concentrate on each step being strong.
My parents were both educators and my daughter is a professor, so I can say in all honesty that education has been a most important aspect of my life. I have been very successful as a college instructor and a tax school teacher. I do not have any tutoring experience but with my love of education and my own work ethic I know I can be instrumental in a students academic success.

I enjoy teaching and have been successful in encouraging students to learn. One student I had was failing chemistry and with my help she obtained an A. By being patient and providing clear and detailed explanations and examples, I can effectively help a student meet their potential.
