I began tutoring in high school. I worked at a local day care where I tutored a special needs child. The experience was very rewarding and inspired me to continue tutoring while in college. I went to North Georgia College & State University, were I earned a BA in English, and an MA in Public Administration. I work on a first-name basis and try to make sure that the student is LEARNING, rather than merely finishing his/her homework. I teach using a Platonic method, asking prodding questions and getting the tutee to figure out the material him/herself.
