My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Reading comprehension requires more than knowing phonics and vocabulary. Strategies to help students understand the text are also important.

As a basic literacy tutor and tutor trainer for over 20 years, I have a passion for helping people learn to read and write well. My background as a technical writer has given me a good grasp of grammar and writing structure.
