I have two technical-college degrees, I worked my way through both of them being a math tutor, and have used math and science in some way in every job I've ever held. I helped teach three courses organized in this manner: “Earthquakes, Volcanoes & Other Hazards,” at Princeton, and “The Solid Earth,” and “Geological Excursion: Death Valley,” both at Columbia.
