This depends on the student and his or her individual needs. I like to find creative ways to make learning more fun for the individual so that he or she will feel more motivated to learn.
I have been tutoring since I was in high school. Between that and teaching Sunday School and Children's Church, I have more than ten years of experience. In a world where you can be anything, be yourself.

My teaching style varies by the student. If the student learns fast and is persitent, I will move at a faster state, but if the student learns at a normal or a slower pace I will move at a rate in which the child will get the most out of the tutoring experience.

I am a former high school and middle school English teacher who is currently pursuing a Master's of English at East Carolina University. This past semester I tutored in a writing studio at ECU. For the past few years I have been tutoring students K-12 in various subjects, mostly language arts. I also have substitute-taught at a couple different schools in Pitt County. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University.
