Hello, I am a high school and college level tutor with four years of experience. I have a degree from the University of Missouri in Chemistry and a double minor in education and math. While at the University of Missouri I worked in the Learning Center for the college tutoring four Chemistry courses and two math courses for three years. Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Chemistry is probably my favorite subject! In fact my favorite course in college was quantitative chemical analysis! :)

Very much based on working with what the student knows. I tend to start by having them explain to me what they are doing and what they think. I then provide some guidance and walk through a sample problem with them. I ask that they try another problem like it on their own and ask questions to prompt them as they work.
I started tutoring in high school for extra credit. I have primarily tutored in mathematics and general chemistry! I tutored a girl in Algebra 1 for a year, helped my best friend and her Mom with college mathematics, and worked through college algebra with my husband. Math and Science Tutoring

In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources.
