I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in English after taking courses in various fields on the subject. I first began my love of teaching and tutoring children when I was a senior in high school. The key to being an effective teacher/tutor is finding a way to engage the student so that they are active in the learning process. I really enjoy teaching all ages. From my background in coaching young children how to swim I've become well adjusted to dealing with difficult situatioins in a learning environment.
