Hands on - I'd prefer if those who I tutor had a computer to experiment on. Learning through doing is the best way.
I have 4+ years of experience developing in python 2.7 and Pygame, with working game examples being mainly a LightCycle game. I have an ongoing understanding of Java, C#, and JavaScript which continue to advance since July 2013. I have completed a high school level course which covered HTML, Visual Basic, and Python, passing with an A. I'm an incoming freshman at UCSD, but I've completed the SPIS program which has students create image manipulation programs, create fractals, and encode ASCII messages inside pictures, all of which utilizes recursion and looping. Online Math Tutor

I am a graduate of BS Mathematics and currently pursuing my master's degree. I have also been a lecturer for a year right after graduating. I am also a tutor in a tutorial center here in the Philippines. I teach high school and elementary students in almost all subjects but my expertise is on Math. Learning can be fun!!

I love learning and teaching alike. My first teaching experience was in high school when I helped teach inner city children how to swim. Let's do this... TOGETHER!

I am a very interactive teacher. I want feedback so I can see the progress the student is making. If they are not getting something, I make adjustments and change tactics. I teach tot he student(s). Everyone learns differently. And sometimes by the time I get to them student, it has nothing to do with their ability but more their confidence because of previously bad experiences.
