My comments on tutoring Marine Biology : Was captain for 3 years in high school of National Oceans Science Bowl which is an academic competition in Oceanography which encompasses Marine Biology

Tutored many students during high school and I am currently a 1st year Chemical Engineering student at University of California, Berkeley. In high school, I tutored AP Chemistry, many levels of math, and many other science courses often. I also worked with younger students in middle school on many of the general subjects.
I prefer one on one tutoring so I can adjust how I tutor to each students needs, but I have also done group tutoring before. All in all, I personally want to work in whatever environment will help the student learn most effectively.

I can help you master geography and earth science!

I like to bring the material "down to earth" by using examples and making comparisons between the material being taught and what the student is familiar with in the own immediate world. When teaching geography and earth science I use many examples of places with the students home region. Southern California is great for that!
I have five years teaching geography at the community college level. I mostly taught physical geography (more like earth science), but also taught some human geography as well. I am a German student for biology and chemistry and want to become a teacher. I have done my middle examinations here in Germany which are comparable to a Bachelor Degree. I have helped several pupils to get better marks at school here in Germany - in English and Mathmatics. I have done several internships I had to do at schools in Germany. My best experience was when I did two chemistry lessons on two days at a class in its last year at a German college (German word: Gymnasium) - on the second day (after my lesson of the first day) five pupils from other courses wanted to join my lesson - in their free period! Recently I was asked to give a Guest Lecture on Neuroanatomy at Everest College. I wanted to take students on a ride through the nervous system, into subcortical structures, down the spinal cord to synapse onto muscles and organs.
