Government is one of my top subjects!

I prefer to use current real world content as a way to demonstrate historical ideas in an easier context to understand. I believe that students benefit more from this type of instruction because it can put difficult concepts in a way that is easier to relate to.
I recently graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education. First of all, students learn differently and it is important to accommodate to those differences. Therefore, I have learned that teaching involves more than just speaking one on one about the material. I am a very adaptable teacher--I can easily pick up on a student's needs and abilities, and work to their strengths in that way.
