i teach on a virtual whiteboard software, which is real time two way audio chat process, very easy to use and studenr can learn each and everything in the class, even all the sessions are recorded for revision purpose

In 2000 I volunteered in the local high school's journalism class because of my passion for writing. The following year I was offered a position as yearbook adviser, and I further developed my skills with high school students. Since 2004 I have been a private tutor, teaching all elementary subjects as well as most middle school and high school curriculum. My teaching style is a mix of traditional and progressive. Traditional because I believe students need a solid foundation of core knowledge to prepare them for future learning. Progressive, because I believe facts should not only be taught in bits and pieces, but should be put into a meaningful context that the student can understand. My area of concentration is math, which can be hard for some students to grasp because of the way they are taught. Memorizing steps alone does not make sense to most students. Math concepts need to be demonstrated from many different angles. This way, a student is more likely to see one they can connect to. Also, problems should be put into relevant terms that interest kids.
