I have over thirty years of experience in the field of both Elementary and Secondary Education. I have taught in several Elementary and Secondary schools and also as a Public Historical Interpreter in a major museum here in North Carolina. Currently I am an experienced Reading Comprehension Tutor at an award winning elementary school located in Western North Carolina. I believe in working closely with parents,guardians and students. I meet the student where there are and assist and support them in understanding the subject. Reading Comprehension is a new skill of mine and I have two years of experience in the field. To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. I'm also good in science. My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.
