I have enjoyed teaching Chemistry, Computer Programming and Freshman General Science for the past 20 years in Missouri and Kansas. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share the thought processes I go through when trying to solve a math problem. In high school I struggled with mathematics, which I believe has always given me a special insight into other people's struggle with the subject. In my opinion the best way to teach someone is to simply discuss the subject with them until you get a feel for their learning style, and the present the concepts in a way that will complement their specific needs.
