I have helped many kids that have ADD with anything that is need same with ADHD I have helped at least 10 kids and I have never had a compliant. I have a method with kids that deal with Deislxya to make it were they can over come it kids with this I have helped about 5 and also have not had any complaints

As a graduate of a small liberal arts college, I have spent many hours volunteering to help tutor my classmates in both biology and the humanities. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology. I have learned extensive grammatical skills through my school's intensive general studies program. I am confident in my ability to tutor students in mathematics, science, English and the humanities at the K-12 level and biology and English at the college level.
I believe that students best learn from doing. My role as a tutor is not just to provide answers, but to facilitate and encourage learning. Life is the greatest teacher. Throughout my life I have been presented with numerous opportunities to expand upon my natural abilities. At a young age I was bilingual in English & Spanish which opened up opportunities for me to informally translate in my community. I have always had a thirst for knowledge& my wide experience base enabled me to tutor high school&college level &special needs students in math, science, communication, social studies, English,dance, test prep,etc. My love of helping people learn also inspired me to be a substitute teacher for students from K-12th grade. I enjoy working with children, waiting for the "ah ha" moment to arrive. When it does, there is nothing, like it. I believe strongly in the saying "there are no bad students, only bad teachers". I believe that every student is capable of learning, the trick is to find a way that makes it real and applicable to each individual student. I believe that the keys to success are student motivation, the tutor's flexibility and lots of patience.
