I like to make learning fun by teaching according to what my students like. For instance, with the little girl I tutored, I knew that she was a visual learner and that she loved art and music so I gave her a mnemonic device in a form a song she liked to help her remember verb conjugations. I also made flashcards for her to remember fruits and vegetables as well as articles of clothing. I am a credentialed elementary teacher, but have experience tutoring K-12, both in person and virtually. I began tutoring virtually starting in mid 2019 and refined my skills during the pandemic when everything became virtual.
