I enjoy working with children, and believe that all kids have the ability to achieve anything. As long as their mentors can give them an extra boost to understand certain concepts their ability to accomplish their projects and earn exceptional grades are endless. I started my college career at Drake University as a Mass Comunications major. I changed schools and recieved a double major in Business and Economics. My approach to teaching is comprehensive and challenging. I believe in getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of my students and customizing the curriculum for optimum growth. My approach is to empower the students to achieve by teaching them the steps to attacking a challenge and working them trough it. Then I believe students have the support and stamina to increase the rigor of their curriculum. Once they realize how much they can achieve and that they have the tools and support, they are much more likely to take on the challenges set before them.
