Hello! I have just graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Physics minor. While attaining a BS in Mathematics at Penn State University, I was heavily involved in peer tutoring. For two semesters I spent 10-20 hours per week working one-on-one with students struggling or seeking a higher level of success in courses ranging from pre-algebra to calculus 2. A Little Bit About Me...

Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I just recently graduated and I can't see myself not helping someone learn and love math. Math isn't a subject that everyone loves but I believe that can change with the right teacher. When lecturing in an auditorium to two hundred freshmen, I had to keep to my lecture notes and prepared demonstrations, depending on the students’ initiative to ask the TA’s in the recitation sections about any difficulties. In a smaller class I could engage the students more, still keeping on topic but asking questions of the students and encouraging their questions.
