I am currently involved in the public school system as a Literacy Tutor for grades k-3. I have earned a BA in Journalism and English and have decided to continue on to pursue my Masters degree in Education. I have been trained in specific reading strategies that can help improve fluency, phonemic awareness, and phonics; as well as vocabulary and text comprehension. I love working with children. I believe they all have the potential to be great at whatever they choose – sometimes they just need that extra hand- and that is what I can offer. I'm a very patient and personable guy. I will make sure that you have all your questions answered and also help you develop efficient study techniques.
